Introduction:

Lura Player is a user-friendly video player with a rich set of features. This documentation will cover the user interface and its features in detail.

Seekbar Hover Preview Matrix

The Seekbar Hover Preview Matrix provides a preview of the video frame of the second as the user hovers over the seekbar.

Trick play

The Trick Play provides a preview of the video frame of the second as the user slides the seekbar.

Subtitles

Lura Player supports subtitles and has a feature to turn them on/off as per the user's preference. By default the subtitle font is automatically adjusted to the screen size.

Visual Feedback

The user interface provides visual feedback for various actions like play, pause, mute, unmute, volume change, etc.

Subtitle and Audio Selector

The user can select subtitles and audio tracks from the available options.

Picture in Picture

Lura Player has a Picture in Picture mode, allowing the user to watch the video in a smaller window while working on other tasks.

Fullscreen

The user can switch to fullscreen mode for a better viewing experience.

Mute/unmute button

The player has a mute/unmute button to control the audio.

Play/Pause button

The player has a play/pause button to control the playback.

Responsive interface

The user interface is responsive and adjusts to different screen sizes.

Title

The player displays the title of the video being played.

Time track

The player displays the time track of the video being played.

Key bindings

The player supports key bindings for various actions like play, pause, mute, unmute, etc. Check the Key Bindings page for more information.

Settings

The player has a settings menu where the user can customize the playback experience.

  • Playback speed adjustment: The user can adjust the playback speed from the settings menu.
  • Subtitle Styling: The user can style the subtitles from the settings menu.

Ad User Interface

Lura Player displays a different UI in the ad, anything that might distract the user from focusing on the ad is removed from the user interface when the ad starts playing. Ad UI also has the frame that the user is currently in to visualise where the user will continue from.
